Trees Forever and the University of Northern Iowa’s Tallgrass Prairie Center invite you become a Steward of the Beautiful Land!

Explore the native ecosystems near you! Stewards of the Beautiful Land is an educational series that covers the importance of native plants and trees. Join us throughout the spring, summer, and fall for webinars covering topics that will help you enjoy the native environment around you and keep your part of the world a little greener! We are now offering our individual webinars to everyone free of charge! https://treesforever.org/stewards/

Meet us out in the field!

Get hands-on experience during monthly, in-person prairie walkabouts. Four separate counties throughout Iowa will host monthly field days for participants to learn about plant identification and experience our state’s native ecosystem.

Tuesday, September 10 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Join Natural Resources Specialist Brandon Clough at Christensen Forest Preserve in Huxley, IA to learn about the counties efforts to control several invasive woodland species and restore the parks oak/hickory savannah.
