The Muscatine Triathlon, presented by Sqwincher®, features a thrilling Sprint Class Triathlon designed for athletes of all levels to push their limits in a scenic and supportive environment. Participants will start with a 750-meter swim, followed by a 12.4-mile bike ride through picturesque Muscatine, and finish with a 5K run that brings them to the heart of our vibrant community. This event combines challenge, camaraderie, and a celebration of fitness, making it a perfect race for both competitive athletes and first-time triathletes alike. This family friendly event is more than a competition. It will include a farmer's market, kids fitness zone, kids beach activities, face painting, dunk tank, and more! On Friday, August 1 athletes will register at the Park, get their swag bags, and have a chance to view the course. The City of Muscatine is inviting everyone (community members and athletes) to a "Taste of Muscatine" on 2nd Street. The Muscatine Triathlon will begin at 8am on Saturday, August 2. Following the event, the City is hosting an "After Party" on the Mississippi Riverfront.
