This nutritious and relaxing walk will take in as many blossoms as possible and talk on their medicinal uses or stories. We will also gather morel mushrooms that are spotted. The walk will be along level ground for approximately half a mile. Following the woodland walk, we will walk along the forest edge, checking what spring greens have come up for sampling. Participants should wear sturdy shoes for walking on dirt and grassy trails. Following the walk we plan to have cooked samples to taste at the shelter house. Call the Louisa County Conservation office at 319/523-8381 for more information or to check for cancellation due to weather.
