Haunted Halloween Hike

Join the Ringgold County Conservation Board for a Haunted Halloween Hike at Poe Hollow Park (east of Mount Ayr on State Hwy 2) on Saturday, October 24th. A less scary version of the hike for younger participants will begin at 5:30 PM with the regular hike starting at 7:00 PM.
Registration for the hike will be at Hawkins Hideaway Shelter (enclosed shelter) and a guide will lead you to the beginning of the trail. Groups (no more than 10) will leave every 10 minutes from the shelter house and travel from the Poe Hollow west trail to the Ringgold Trailway and come back on the east trail into Poe Hollow and end at the campground where you will receive a hayride back to the enclosed shelter.
Snacks and drinks will be available at the shelter with other activities offered while you wait for your hike. Cocoa/Coffee and campfire will greet you in the campground at the end of your hike.
Entry Fees for this event are: Adults - $10.00 and Students - $5.00. All proceeds of this event go towards funding the Ringgold County Nature Center.
