Explore nature cozied up with a good book at Environmental Literature Club. Join naturalist Rebekah Beall for this three part series at 7:00 p.m. at Wheatsfield Co-op (413 Northwestern Avenue, Ames) in their community room each month to discuss a different book focused on the human relationship with the environment. There is no fee to participate, however, you must purchase the books on your own to read prior to the monthly environmental literature club meeting.
January 31 - Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer
February 28 - The Death and Life of the Great Lakes by Dan Egan
March 28 - The Forest Unseen by David Haskell
Registration is free, but is required by Friday, January 18, 2018. Space is limited. This registration is for the complete three part series.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted however Wheatsfield does have items available for purchase.
