Cottonwood Shelter
Cottonwood is an open-air shelter with the capacity to seat 100 people. The beautiful surroundings, combined with a playground & a grass volleyball court make this an ideal place to hold any of your events.
Additional tents, dunk tanks, bouncy houses or any other additional structures are prohibited.
This shelter may be reserved up to one week in advance by calling a Park Ranger at 319-493-9367.
(NOTE: The location of this facility is within the flood plain of the river and is subject to flooding)
Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 06:00 AM and check-out is before 10:30 PM.
Location Cottonwood is located in Black Hawk Park.
