Get ready to make a splash! Water Camp is the ultimate summer experience for kids who love to explore, play, and learn all about water. From creeks to lakes, streams to puddles, this camp is packed with wet and wild fun!🚤

What’s in Store:

🎣 Go fishing and learn to reel in the big one

🛶 Paddle through scenic waters while kayaking

🌊 Splash and stomp through creeks and streams

🏊 Swim and cool off in the summer sun

✨ Discover the wonders of water through hands-on exploration

🎒 What to Bring: Lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes (optional), a change of clothes, and a bag to carry it all. 

Ages: 10-15

Cost: $80 dollars. This covers all program costs and fuel. No walk ins will be accepted.

Program Policies: All registrations must be done online, and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance in registering for programs online, please call the nature center 319-277-2187, and we will help you. Prior to the program, registration materials and waiver must be completed for each participant and turned into the nature center. These materials can be emailed to gcallaway@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov or sent to 657 Reserve Drive Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613.Children can be dropped off starting 10 minutes prior to the start of the program and must be picked up with 15 minutes after the end of the program. If a child needs to be dropped off/picked up earlier/later, please contact Megan at mhamm@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov.

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
