By agreeing with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years or older and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while using cabins.
Cabin Access Information:Cabins are all self check-in. There is a key lock box located on the outside of the door and will be set to the 4-digit code that was selected above. Please follow the directions below for entry into cabin:1. Push buttons for each number of your code on the keypad in any order.2. Push down on the “OPEN” latch at the top, while holding it down pull the face out from the key box. If a number has been incorrectly pushed, the box will not open. Simply press down on the “CLEAR” button to try again.3. While holding the face, pull out the key and put the face back onto the key box. The face will then lock back onto the key box and the code will clear. 4. After you have locked the building, follow the directions listed above and put the key back into the box. Cabin Rules: Check-in time will be at 3 PM on the first day of rental, Check-out time will be at 11 AM on day of departure 1. Maximum number of occupants per cabin is (6) six2. No more than (2) vehicles per cabin are allowed at the cabin site during occupancy3. Maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive nights within a 21 day period4. No one under the age of 21 years of age shall be allowed to reserve a cabin5. No one under the age of 18 years of age shall be allowed to occupy a cabin unless that minor is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is staying the entire reservation period6. No tents, motor homes or pull campers will be allowed at the cabin sites7. Cooking in cabins is permitted in furnished appliances only8. Smoking is prohibited inside cabin9. Pets are NOT allowed in cabins and must be leashed at all times10. Cabin quiet hours are enforced at 10:30 PM11. Non-registered guests must leave the cabin and Don Williams Recreation Area by 10:30 PM12. No keg beer is allowed at cabin site13. Boone County Conservation Board reserves the right for their staff to enter the cabin in cases of maintenance or security purposes14. All Boone County Conservation Board rules and regulations will apply to registered guests and visitors while occupying cabinLuxury cabins are for lodging purposes only. Shelters are available for large gatherings and social events. Parties at cabin sites will not be permitted. Violation of rules will be cause to cancel your stay at cabin. The Director has the authority to refuse rental privileges and rescind any and all rental permits for cause. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE. Upon Checkout Please: -Close and lock all windows and doors -Wipe down microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, counter tops, etc. -Dry and put dishes away -Sweep Floor -Place trash in outside receptacle -Shut off all lights -Please be respectful to our cleaning staff and leave the cabins as you found them
Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation. Cancellations or changes must be made 14 days in advance of the reservation. SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID unless you meet one of the exceptions in the refund policy below. Cancellations cannot be done online and must be made by calling the Conservation Office at (515) 353-4237. Reservations can be rescheduled 12 months from the original reservation date, so you will have a credit for 12 months.
Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they must go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. However, if you need to cancel your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule within 12 months of your reservation date.We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy with the following exceptions: -Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member -Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel such as a winter storm where a travel advisory has been issued -We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event
