Discover Don Williams Recreation Area in Ogden
This 600 acre recreational area is Boone County Conservation's largest park. With the campground, playgrounds, trails and 150 acre lake, there are recreational opportunities for all ages.
Electrical campsites $20/night for a 50amp/30amp/110v hookup.
Primitive tent sites $12/night.

Location Don Williams Recreation Area is located in central Iowa, approximately 25 miles west of Ames, Iowa and 45 miles northwest of Des Moines.

Hours of Operation & Seasons
Quiet hours are from 11:00pm- 6:00am.
All visitors must leave the park by 10:30pm.
This park also serves as the headquarters for Boone County Conservation. The park office is open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Due to a low number of staff, the park office may not be open all of these hours, please call ahead to set up an appointment.
