Event Summary
The water is calm and reflective at night- a perfect time for a moonlit excursion to the head of the lake at Fontana Park. The evening canoe floats will be held just before sundown for about 1½ hours on the Fontana Park Lake. Paddlers will see some animals settling in for the night while others are just becoming active. The animals seen likely will differ on each evening. Participants should dressfor the weather and bring insect repellent. Preregisterby calling 319-636-2617 or fontanapark@iowatelecom.net. Registration is limited, and there is a registration fee of $5 per person for each night, due within ten days of registering.
