Dutch oven cooking 101 is back by popular demand! Our next
Dutch Oven program will be held on Thursday, August 1st at 5:30 P.M.
at the South Shelter Area of Buena Vista County Conservation Park. Naturalist
Katie will present the basics of Dutch oven cooking, including ovens, supplies,
recipes, and more.
There will be no need to plan supper that night.
The meal
for the evening will be Dutch Oven pizza. We will learn a couple different ways
to make a quick, easy, and tasty pizza using Dutch Ovens. For dessert we will
make a S’mores bake.
Registration is required for this program. To RSVP contact
the Conservation Office at 712-295-7985 by Tuesday, July 30th at
4:00 PM.

This program can be cancelled due to inclement weather or
lack of participants.
