Partial Eclipse

Event Summary

Iowa will experience a partial eclipse of the sun on Monday, April 8th. If you would like to safely experience this astronomical event, and learn more about the science of eclipses, join the Buena Vista County Naturalist from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Conservation Office.  

The conservation staff will provide all attendees with eclipse viewing glasses, as well as treats. Supplies are limited. Reservations are required for this program by Friday, April 5 at 4 P.M. To register call the Conservation Office at 712 -295-7985.

The Conservation Office is located at 377 440th Street, South of Peterson.  

This program may be cancelled due to inclement weather or lack of participants.
