Event Summary
Due to construction on the south side of the park, we are changing the hike venue to the north side. Meet us at the small shelter near the boat ramp at 8:30 AM.
It is the time of year when the ephemeral flowers of the spring put on their best show on the forest floor. One great place to see these flowers is at Heery Woods State Park – South. So don’t just hand your mother flowers this weekend. Get the family together and bring her out to see a forest full of flowers. We will meet at 8:30 AM near the lodge. Dress for the weather and trail conditions. Bring your camera or binoculars if you would like. You just never know what we might find along the trail.
