Calhoun

County Home Park spans 23 acres and holds significant historical value. It was once the site of the County Home of Calhoun County, serving as a refuge for individuals unable to support themselves. Although the original home remains, it is now under private ownership. We ask that our visitors give the private homeowners their privacy and try to remain only on public land! Visitors can explore the area, featuring mature maples, a diverse bird population, and newly planted prairie. While it's a wonderful spot for a leisurely visit, note that there are no restroom facilities available on site.
