The shelter has a maximum capacity of 60 people with 10 picnic tables inside the shelter. This shelter is not heated. The shelter house can be used on a first come, first serve basis if it is not already reserved.

Dickson Timber Shelter House Rates

Daily Rate: $40.00

Non-profit organization rates are available.

 Refundable security deposit - $50.00 per event on a separate payment

Reservation can be made on a rolling calendar basis (one year in advance) beginning at 8am. Reservations can be made in person during office hours or by phone call or email.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

- The renter is responsible for complete cleanup of the shelter house.
- Renter must be 21 years of age or older to rent the facility or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Maximum capacity of guest may not exceed 60 guests at one time.
- Park Hours are from 5:00am until 10:30pm, quite hours are enforced between 10:30pm and 5:00am
            
-Park closes at 10:30pm, all traffic after 10:30pm is monitored.
- Pets must be always kept on a leash no longer than 6ft or kenneled. Park users must immediately clean up after their pets. Violators will be ticketed.
- Kegs are not allowed at any of Carroll County Conservation parks or facilities.
DECORATIONS 

 Outdoor decorations are allowed if they are temporary, free standing directional signs are allowed, they are not allowed to be attached to park furniture, signposts, trees or other facilities.
Indoor decorations Table Decorations ONLY other decorations are allowed as long as they are free standings or not affixed in a way that would damage a facility or any walls/woodwork (tape, tacks, staples, and command hooks/strips can all cause damage). It is your responsibility, as the renter, to remove all decorations.

- Event tents are not allowed at the Dickson Timber Shelter House. A small shade tent is ok to be used.
 
ALCOHOL BEVERAGES
Carroll County Conservation does not provide or sell alcohol.
You may bring your own wine, beer, or other drinks to serve at your event. If you or a vendor will be selling alcoholic drinks (beer, wine, liquor) at your event, you or your vendor will need to have a liquor license. It is the renter’s responsibility to determine if a liquor license is required for the event they are having, and they must follow all state and local laws regarding liquor license requirements. If your event does require a liquor license, you must provide a copy of this document to the CCB office at least 30 days prior to your event.

Carroll County Conservation Parks close at 10:30pm, if you are not registered to camper at Dickson Timber you must exit the park before 10:30pm.
