Blazingstar Prairie
This rare 10.5-acre remnant of native prairie is a reminder of Iowa's past. There are many species of unique plants found here, providing beauty throughout th growing season. The purchse of this area was provided by Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board "REAP" account funding.
Location
Located 2 miles north of Rockwell on U.S. Highway 65 and 1/2 mile east on 180th Street (16747 - 180th Street).
