Mac's Preserve
Mac’s Preserve is a 7.5 acre habitat area southeast
of Marcus, Iowa, along the narrow West Fork of the Little Sioux
River. Hunting is not permitted on the
preserve, which serves as grassland and shrub habitat for nesting and
over-wintering birds.
