Rental Contract Agreement

By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years of age or older and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities. Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation, and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information You are reserving a facility in a Clinton County park. ALL CLINTON COUNTY RULES AND REGULATIONS AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Ranger listed on your reservation confirmation email if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests. FAILURE TO CLEAN UP THE FACILITY OR SURROUNDING AREA AS OUTLINED, OR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH PARK RULES OR STATE LAWS MAY RESULT IN ENFORCEMENT ACTION. Clinton County Conservation may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.

CHECK-IN TIME:       
Cabins- After 3:00 PM on the day of arrival     
CHECK-OUT TIME:
Cabins - Before 1:00 PM on day of departure

GETTING INTO A FACILITY A key to the cabin is available via lock box located on the outside of the park maintenance building next to the Ranger residence.

CLEAN-UP
You are required to cleanup the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. Plan to have your facility cleaned and people departed prior to your scheduled checkout time. Cleanup instructions are posted in the cabin.

VISITORS
All visitors (other than registered overnight campers) must depart the area by 10:00 PM, park closing time.

SMOKING
Clinton County is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.

PARKING
Parking is confined to designated parking areas. If you anticipate more vehicles than spaces provided, please contact the Park Ranger in advance. No parking or driving off roadways.

DAMAGE & CLEAN-UP DEPOSIT
This facility requires that an additional deposit check in the amount of $100.00 be mailed in to the Conservation Department two weeks prior to the event. It is your responsibility to ensure that this deposit is provided on time. An automated reminder will be sent to the email address of record two weeks in advance of the scheduled event date. Deposits for this facility should be mailed to: Clinton County Conservation, P.O. Box 68, Grand Mound, Iowa 52751-0068. Deposits will be refunded in whole should there be no cause for retention of any portion thereof.

Cancellation Policy

 Please consider this policy prior to purchasing your facility reservation.

SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID.

Youth Group Rules

Organized Youth Groups such as Boy and Girl Scouts, Church groups, 4-H clubs, etc. may obtain a discounted price on facility rental by phoning the Conservation Office at (563) 847-7202. Do Not make an online reservation before phoning our office to verify your discount. If you choose to make your reservation online, you will pay the full rate.

Refund Policy

Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving & utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee policy with the following exceptions:

• Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member
• Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel such as a winter storm where a travel advisory has been issued
• We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event
