This 65 x13 ft back-in only site has a gravel pad with electric and water hookup.

This site may be reserved up to one year in advance and must be made at least 5 days in advance of the date of reservation.

There are NO REFUNDS. You may call 563-847-7202 one time to reschedule the original dates up to 2 weeks prior.

The occupancy limit is 14 consecutive days. Reservations will be posted at each site 5 days in advance.

If the site is not reserved, it will be available on a first come - first serve basis until the day of the next reservation.


Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 12:00 PM and check-out is before 11:00 AM.

Location Walnut Grove Campground along the Wapsipinicon River.

$30 per night Reservable rate.

Holiday weekends, (Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July if it falls on a Friday or Monday) requires 3 nights to reserve.


Hours of Operation & Seasons

  • Camping is available year round, however, water is shut off from October 15 thru April 15. The Park will also be closed if covered by snow.
  • Park Hours: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
  • Camping check-in: 3:00 P.M.
  • Camping check-out: 11:00 A.M.
  • Campground quiet hours are 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

USE OF CAMPGROUND IN "OFF-SEASON":

  • The campground may be opened prior to April 15th or closed after October 31 depending weather & ground conditions.
  • Water and modern restroom/shower facilities will be unavailable October 15 thru April 15 each season to prevent freezing.
