Whitetail Deer Antler Shed Hike at Camp WaNoKi

Event Summary

Enjoy a short talk on deer antler sheds and then hike on the trails with our Naturalists and look for whitetail antler deer sheds that have been set out to find. If you find an antler shed that was not placed out for the event you can keep it. We will look at some elk antlers and mule deer antlers compared to the whitetail deer antlers. We will discuss the difference between antlers and horns. This is a joint program done between Webster and Hamilton County Conservation Boards.
