Fireside Chat at Camp WaNoKi / Canoe, Kayak, & Backpacking Basics 101

Event Summary

We will be discussing the basics of how to get started in the hobby of canoeing, kayaking, and backpacking. We will also discuss the cost of purchasing a canoe, kayak, backpack, gear, and cover some basic boating safety. We will not be on the water for this program. We may take a hike after our discussion at the fireside chat.

This is a joint program by Hamilton and Webster County Conservation Boards. Camp WaNoKi is managed by the Webster County Conservation Board.
