Ziesman Widlife Area

This is a 10 acre piece of land  located in section 1 of Tipton Township. This property was purchased in 1961 by the Hardin County Conservation Board from C. F., A. R. and Max Ziesman. This timbered property lies along the south fork of the Iowa River. In 1981 a quick claim deed was given to Don Balvanz of Hubbard vacating and closing a portion of the roadway.



Location

This wildlife area is located 9 ½ miles south of Iowa Falls, on Highway 65, then turn east on 230th Street for about ¼ mile, it is on the corner of 230th Street and M Ave., with access from 230th Street.

Great primitive area, timber and open for hunting.
