New Exhibit Coming to the Hurstville Interpretive Center—Celebrating the Center’s 20th Anniversary in 2024!
Jackson County Conservation and Friends of Jackson County Conservation are working to bring a new exhibit to the Center, including a
- Woodland Diorama,
- Walk-through Cave,
- and Hill Prairie.
The new exhibit will cover an area of 35' x 15' x 15' of the exhibit floor at the Center. The new exhibit will help tell the story of Iowa’s natural history through a woodland diorama with plants and wildlife, a walk-through cave interpreting cave geology, and showcasing the bluffs and hill prairies of Jackson County!
