Iowa Science Phenomena Blitz


Event Summary

 On May 17 from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Iowa PBS and Jackson County Conservation will host an outdoor adventure with a guided tour of the remnant Codfish Hollow Prairie. Bring along your camera or phone as our tour will begin at the Hurstville Interpretive Center, 18670 63rd St. Maquoketa IA, at 9:30 am, where we will offer valuable tips and tricks to help improve your own amateur nature photography skills. We will then travel to and explore the exciting native prairie at Codfish Hollow. You are invited to share the images you capture from this event for use in our Iowa Science Phenomena collection. Don’t miss your chance to connect with nature and explore this unique feature right in Jackson County. This experience is for all ages and is family friendly.
