Maquoketa River: Canton Access to Royertown Canoe Access

Enjoy a day paddling the Maquoketa River while learning about the area’s archaeology!

Guides include County Naturalists and Brennan Dolan, Archaeologist with the Iowa DOT.

Canoes and kayaks available or bring your own. RSVP required. No cost.

This event is part of the Dubuque, Jackson &Jones County OWL series. OWL events are geared for ‘older, wiser, livelier’ adults wanting to learn more about our environment.​
