Each fall, monarch butterflies travel over 2,000 miles south to Mexico! Come learn about this incredible journey and take part in citizen science! A short, kid-friendly indoor presentation about monarchs will be followed by instructions on tagging, and outdoor exploration to catch, tag, and release the butterflies as they pass through Kent Park. This Is a free event. Pre-registration is requested; to register, email kmorrow@co.johnson.ia.us.
