Jones County Family Fishing Challenge

Event Summary

The entire month of June is the Family Fishing Challenge at Any public or private Jones County waterbody. Enter digital family photos of your catch for prize drawing.  

Email us a digital picture of your catch and include the name and age of participant to receive a digital participation certificate and also be entered into a drawing for prizes at the end of June.  1 entry per family member.  Send your digital pictures to: conservationofficemg@co.jones.ia.us

  Prizes include: Fishing rods/reel combos, tackle, tackle boxes, hats, outdoor recreational items, and gift certificates.

 Follow all Iowa Fishing Rules and Regulations.  (Age 16 and older fishing license required)
