Central Park offers two small rental cabins overlooking Central Park Lake. Each cabin is one room and includes electricity, a ceiling fan, a futon, bunk bed with queen bed on lower bed, table with bench seating, double wardrobe with shelves, a night stand, a dorm sized refrigerator, small microwave, broom and dust pan, picnic table, a fire pit with grill and an air conditioner/heating unit. Users will need to provide their own bedding, personal items, service wear, cooking utensils, and cleaning supplies. Cabins have heat and air conditioning and windows. A water hydrant is nearby and the shower/restroom facility is short walking distance.
Reservations are made on-line only at www.mycountyparks.com after January 1st for the calendar year.
$49.50 per night plus a $4 processing fee. There is a 2 night minimum on the weekend. Cabin reservations are non refundable and non transferable.
Check in is 4pm on day of arrival and Check out is Noon on day of departure.
Central Parks cabins are located near the sand volleyball area and modern campground within easy walking distance to the shower house/restroom facility. Sitting on a hillside the cabins offer spectacular sunrise and sunset views of Central Park Lake. Cabin goers can walk around the entire lake on trails passing right past their front door or grab their fishing rod and head down to the lake to try their luck at catching supper.
Central Park itself is located in the center of Jones County near the small community of Amber and only 15 minutes from the town of Anamosa.

Cabin Entry: Your cabin’s front door will be programmed to accept the code that you selected at time of booking. Your email receipt has the number printed on it for your convenience. Pets: Pets are not allowed inside the cabins. Pets must be on a six-foot leash at all times. Only one pet is permitted per reservation. Groups with a pet kept outside are required to pick up and dispose of pet waste upon departure. Failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. CARRY IN/CARRY OUT: In an effort to keep your park clean, all trash and debris shall be removed from the premises by the occupying group at the end of their stay. Park quiet hours are 9 PM – 8 AM. The park closes to visitors and traffic at 10:30 PM.
Tents: One small tent (less than six-person capacity) is permitted for each cabin. The tent must be set up within 30 feet of the reserved cabin and be at least 30 feet away from the other rental cabin.
Cleaning/Damage: You are required to clean the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. Upon inspection, any damage to the facility, inside or out, will be assessed to the signed group representative. Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Jones County Conservation Board may take legal action necessary for noncompliance of any rules and regulations or to recover damages to county property.

The Reservation is not Transferable or Refundable. (Please call the Conservation Office 563-487-3541 to inform of a cancellation so we know to not expect your arrival)
You are responsible for the actions of all persons visiting and/or staying at the facility. Violation of any state law or county regulation is cause for revocation of the renting privilege and the party may be required to leave the area, without refund.
No rental party shall occupy any cabin for more than 14 days out of any 17-day period. Failure to comply with park rules, or valid complaints about your group during your stay, will prevent future reservations from being issued and serve as cause for revocation of the reservation, and the entire group shall be required to vacate the premises.
