Siems Park
Siems Park is a series of old gravel pits that have been turned over to KCCB and converted to a campground/recreation area. Facilities available include:
- 2 Shelter Houses Available. Reservations can be made at (515) 295-2138 to secure time and date.
- Modern Bath Facilities: Flush Toilets, Sinks, Showers.
- Pit Latrine
- Horseshoe Pits
- Playground Equipment
- Handicapped Accessible Fishing Docks
- Water Hydrants
- Reservable and Walk-in Campsites with Electrical Hookups
- Primitive Camping
Location
Siems Park is located 1/2 mile south of Whittemore on 20th Ave. and then 1 1/4 miles east on 200th St.(County Road B44).

Fishing
Bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie can be caught here. There is a 15 inch minimum length limit on largemouth bass.

Operating Hours & Seasons
Siems park usually opens for camping around April 15th, and closes around November 1st depending on weather conditions. The park is open year round for day use.
