Tree Planting: Morgan Creek Park

Event Summary

The Iowa DNR awarded Emerald Ash Borer Reforestation and Derecho Recovery funds for new trees for Morgan Creek Park in the new redevelopment area, the arboretum, and derecho impacted areas. After a short tutorial, you can help with our planting. No need to register.

Dress for the weather and for tree planting (gloves). Bring your own water. 

You will meet in the parking lot by the new playground at Morgan Creek Park, located at 7212 E Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids.
