Virginia Grove Recreation Area
Virginia Grove was Louisa County Conservation's first official park! This park offers a little of everything. There is a campground, playground and shelter. Hike approximately 3-miles of wooded winding trails that cross footbridges and circle around the pond. Fish the 2.5-acre pond. Hunting is also allowed. This multi-use area is a great place to get out and enjoy the great outdoors!

11 campsites with electricity and central water hydrants, modern playground, pond with a handicapped fishing dock, picnic shelter that can be reserved for group events, latrine style restroom, wooded, winding hiking trials, and public hunting is allowed (note - must be more than 200 yards from the campground, playground and shelter)
Operating Hours & Seasons
Virginia Grove is open year round. We do turn the water off for the season from about mid-October to mid-April but electricity stays on in the campground and restrooms remain open.
Park hours are daily from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm - unless camping.
