Wreath Making

Event Summary

Registration Fee: $30.00 Deadline: November 18 by 4:00 p.m.  

Kick off the holiday season by creating an evergreen wreath for your front door with Marshall County Conservation Naturalist Emily Herring.  During wreath construction, participants will also learn about the history of wreaths, common types of evergreen found in Iowa, and how to properly harvest evergreen from trees.  We ask that kids under 14 have an adult present to help them complete the wreath.  At the end of the session, participants will take home a wreath that will serve as a warm welcome to anyone who knocks on their front door this winter! Pre-registration and payment of $30.00 are required to secure limited spots by November 18 before 4:00 p.m. Register by calling the Conservation Center at 641-752-5490, email mccb@marshallcountyia.gov, or text only 641-758-9777.
