Burn Plans: Simple or Complex?

Event Summary

This program is geared towards folks in the CRP program and Mid Contract Management, but also covers some aspects of woodland, pasture, and remnant prairie burns as well. The program covers most of the components of burn plan writing and how to conduct a prescribed fire as safely as possible! Kevin W. Andersen (Private Lands Wildlife Biologist- Iowa DNR) will be your presenter. Kevin has been a private lands biologist for 17 years with the DNR and covers 20 counties in SE Iowa. He works with private landowners, helping them with written wildlife plans for their land. He also partners with agencies like NRCS, FSA, CCB's and PF.  Register by April 11 by calling 641-752-5490.
