Discover Davis Wetland in Turin

Davis Wetland lies in the Little Sioux River flood plain just below the Loess Hills. This area is one mile north of Turin, just west of Larpenteur Memorial Road. This area has 54 acres of native prairie grass with some excavated areas for shallow wetlands. In 1996, Gerald Davis donated this area to the Conservation Board. This area has an excellent habitat for a large variety of wildlife, including pheasants, doves, waterfowl, and whitetail deer.
