A-mazing Prairie Festival

Event Summary

Gather the entire family and challenge yourself to a 14-acre prairie maze. You don’t have to have a corn field to build a maze. Iowa’s native tallgrass prairie is the perfect medium to create a large scale puzzle for you to solve. A walk through this maze will not only challenge your navigation and problem-solving skills, but will educate you about our natural heritage as well. A “kiddie” maze will be available for young adventurers. Free canoe floats, dog training demos, a raptor release, live music, guided hayrack tours and many other family activities will happen throughout the day. Merchandise from Cottage Grove Orchard and food from Lake Country Catering will also be available for purchase. So, join us for a day of free fun and celebration at Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt. All ages welcome.
