Meet "Alba", an education ambassador for SOAR-Saving Our Avian Resources. Barn owls are beautiful birds and have some of the most extreme adaptations of owls, that make them supreme hunters. But even with their special skills their numbers are believed to be declining in the Midwest. Barn owls have been listed as an endangered species in Iowa since 1977. Alba can help us understand what has happened and what we can do to help.
