Homeschool in the Hills: Ornithology - Afternoon Session

Area homeschool students and educators are invited to join us at Hitchcock Nature Center for a series of field trips designed to focus on nature throughout the seasons at Hitchcock Nature Center.
Join us on June 4th at 1:00 p.m. for another exciting Homeschool in the Hills program. Learning will take flight as you enter the world of Ornithology. Learn about wing structure, beak type, nest building, flight & more as you explore our avian friends with indoor and outdoor learning modules. A morning session of this program will also be offered, click here to register for the 10:00 a.m. session.
Cost for this event is $3.00 per person for children age 3 & over, accompanying adults and children under 3 are free. Online pre-registration is required by Friday, February 15th as space is limited. Please register online.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Guests may cancel their reservation for a full refund up to 1 week (7 days) prior to program date by calling 712-545-3283 & speaking to staff directly. Cancellations made less than 1 week (7 days) prior to the program date will not be refunded. Program fees for programs cancelled by PCCB due to weather or other circumstances will be refunded.

These programs are delivered in a flexible format with both guided and self guided units and is designed for elementary school students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Each program will begin with a set of hands-on learning activities to introduce learners to our topic for the day and then a field session to view nature first-hand. We will be hosting 4 Homeschool in the Hills programs during 2019.
