Rental Contract Agreement

We, the undersigned, being 21 years of age or older and desiring to entertain ourselves and others at the area listed above AGREE TO:
1.  Leave the site used in the same condition as found
2.  Clean up what debris and litter may be deposited during our stay within the time period agreed to

3.  Pay a cleaning fee of up to $100 for failing to clean the site to a condition that is as good or better than the condition in which it was received

4.  Be responsible for any damages done to property within the area by us or our guests
5.  Ensure compliance with Iowa Law respecting the possession of alcoholic beverages by persons under the legal age
6.  Not to interfere with other’s use of park facilities
7.  Abide by all rules and regulations and all laws of this state

8. Plastic confetti or glitter is banned. Paper or other biodegradable confetti may be used as long as long as it is picked up before leaving.

Cancellation Policy




Date Changes
All date changes must be made by calling the Park Ranger at  (402) 490-1290.   Recognize that we must first administratively cancel your existing online reservation, and then create a second reservation for the new date. An Administrative Fee of $25 will be assessed to complete this transaction. Please consider this procedure prior to making your initial reservation. (NOTE: Date changes will not be allowed within two weeks of the scheduled reservation)


Refund Policy

Please understand at the time of booking your reservation that you immediately prohibit other people from reserving and utilizing that facility - they therefore go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date. We will observe a NON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATION FEE policy with the following exceptions: 

  • Accident, serious injury or death of an immediate family member 
  • Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel such as a winter storm where a travel advisory has been issued 
  • We are unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event

ALL cancellations or requests for refunds for the reasons above cannot be done online and must be made by calling the Park Ranger at  (402) 490-1290

Reservations at the Missouri River Overlook Shelter at Narrows River Park are now open for the 2021 season. Maximum occupancy is 100 people & 10 tables are provided for your use. 

 

This covered shelter overlooking the Missouri River invites visitors to stay and enjoy the beauty of the river.  The Omaha downtown skyline is visible as you relax on the deck.  When not reserved, the shelter is available on a first come first serve basis.

Fees

  • $77.00 per day - $73.00 rental fee plus $4.00 processing fee
  • Shelter rental must be in the name of a person 21 years of age or older who will be present at the facility for the full term of the reservation
  • $100.00 alcohol deposit required with your rental, please check the Alcohol Deposit box during checkout and a staff member will meet you the day of your event to collect the deposit at that time.
