Boone Woods
Boone Woods is a 311 acre mature timber area. There are fire lanes for hiking or horseback riding in this undisturbed oak - hickory forest remnant. Hunting, fishing, birdwatching, cross country skiing and a primitive campsite add to this secluded area.
No ATV, Snowmobiles, Dirtbikes or Motor Vehicle of any kind is allowed in any RCCB area.

3 miles southwest of Redding
A parking lot was put in on the Northwest end of Boone Woods in 2011. A kiosk with information is available at this site.
Roads Are Primitive - 4Wheel Drive Vehicles Recommended - Driving Not Advised When Roads Are Wet
