Sioux

This 22 acre area is an old gravel quarry that is located on the north edge (20th Street) of the City of Rock Valley, IA.  There is an 18 acre lake, with a boat ramp for small motored boats, canoes and kayaks.  Along with a handicapped accessible fishing pier.  This location is a popular summer and winter stop for many of the locals to enjoy an evening of fishing. Fish that may be found in the lake include: Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Perch, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye.  Pack a picnic lunch and bring it along to enjoy under the canopy of the open air picnic shelter.
