Winter Birds and Bird Counts

Event Summary

The Greater Ottumwa Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has been filming a video devoted exclusively to attracting meetings and conferences to Ottumwa. Filming is nearing completion. The final piece of the filming will take place at Bridge View Center on Friday, January 10 from 8:30-10 :30 a.m. and we need your help! We will be shooting in the lobby, breakout rooms and theater, and we need volunteers to show these spaces full of people and utilized as they would at an actual conference. Dress should be business-casual attire.

As part of this filming, Annette - with the Wapello County Conservation Board - will give a short (20 - 25 minute) slide presentation on Winter Birds and Bird Counts at 8:30 AM at the Bridge View Center. All are welcome to attend this presentation and then stay to help with the other filming taking place after.

Those who stay will be provided with a light breakfast (scones, coffee, fruit, etc) as a thank you for helping make this possible.
