Event Summary
Southwood Conservation
Area, 1 mile S of Smithland,
Iowa. Paddle in the park! This program is
perfect for first-time kayakers and offers a fun and safe environment for kids
to learn how to kayak. Instruction and supervision will be provided by two
trained Nature Center employees. Life jackets and kayaking equipment will be
provided. Each session is limited to 8 participants, between the ages of 10-15.
Bring a water bottle & dress to be on the water. Meet at the parking lot
by the pond. Pre-registration is required by calling 712-258-0838 or camps@woodburyparks.org.
