Great Backyard Bird Count Bird Hike

Event Summary

Help us kick off the Great Backyard Bird Count weekend and join nature center staff for a bird hike along the trails at the Nature Center. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes. If you prefer, you can participate in an indoor bird count throughout the day, watching birds during the Nature Center’s open hours from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 pm. For more on the Great Backyard Bird Count go to www.birdcount.org. Count birds at your feeder or in your yard to participate in one of the largest citizen science projects in the world.
