Discover Iowa's wild spaces! Spend the day hiking, wading, and exploring the wilder places in Eastern Iowa. We will travel to unique wildlife areas and spend the day.

*Each Passport day will be to a new location!

Kids will need to bring a lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes (optional) and a bag to put it all in!

Ages: 10-15

Cost: $30/person. No walk-ins are going to be taken.

 

Program Policies: ·

All registrations must be done online and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance in registering for programs online, please call the nature center 319-277-2187 and we will help you. ·

Prior to the program, registration materials and waiver must be completed for each participant and turned into the nature center. These materials can be emailed to gcallaway@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov or sent to 657 Reserve Drive Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613.

Children can be dropped off starting 10 minutes prior to the start of camp and must be picked up with 15 minutes after the end of camp. If a child needs to be dropped off/picked up earlier/later, please contact Katie at kklus@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov.

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
