Calhoun

Davis Preserve used to be private land, but since it was acquired by Calhoun County Conservation, the area has transformed into a lush habitat for all kinds of wildlife.  With an abundance of trees and shrubs, there are food sources, hiding places, and some open areas for wildlife to frolic. This designated wildlife sanctuary prohibits hunting activities. While the scenery may be minimal, visitors can enjoy birdwatching or a leisurely stroll through the public grounds.
