The T-Bone trail is a hardsurface, multi-use recreation trail spanning twenty-one miles. Five of these miles are in Cass County, the trail extends North into Audubon County.

Education at Turkey Creek Educational Area
This portion of the park is for educational use. NO HUNTING. The bottomland forest and natural ox bows from the creek provide excellent ecosystem education. This is also home to an IOWATER site. Field Trips are welcome to get the hands-on experience of the IOWATER site.

Historic Visits at Hitchcock Recreation Area
This park contains the Rev. George B. Hitchcock house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the National Underground Railroad. This house was used to hide freedom seekers during the Civil War.

Hunting at Hitchcock Recreation Area
Hunting is allowed within the 66 acres of the park. Please be courteous of the caretaker house and historical house. The park has diverse upland prairie, food plots and river bottom forest.

Hunting at Indian Creek Wildlife Area
This dense, hilly, ten acres provides many hunting opportunities.

Winter Activities at Outdoor Educational Classroom
Outdoor Educational Classroom is one of the best places we have for winter activities! Ice fishing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. We do not groom the trails for cross country skiing, but the trail along west pond is the best for that.
