Ben Martinsen Wildlife Area


The wildlife area consists of 420 acres of Wapsipinicon floodplain timber, oxbow ponds and river frontage. Trapping, deer, waterfowl, turkey, squirrel, and raccoon hunting are the primary activities.

 



Location

Because of a side channel of the Wapsipinicon River bisecting the area, there are two parking lots. Go south of Camanche on Hwy 67.
The first parking lot is located on the west side of Hwy 67, just south of Follett, Iowa (GOOGLE MAP LOCATION).
The second parking lot is located by going west of Follett on 292nd St. approximately 1 mile, on the south side of the road (GOOGLE MAP LOCATION).
