Crawford

Acquired in 2002, this is a 310 acre woodland/prairie owned by the Natural Heritage Foundation but managed by the Crawford County Conservation Board for timber preservation and public hunting.

Location

This woodland is located six miles north and three miles west of Ricketts, Iowa.

Features

160 acres of woodland and 150 acres of grasslands and old timber/pasture.

Special Regulation for Shotgun 1 and Shotgun 2 deer seasons:

During these two deer seasons only muzzleloaders are allowed for deer hunting in this area.  This is at the request of the original donor of the property to the INHF.
