Redfield Boat Ramp
Canoeing & Kayaking at Redfield Boat Ramp
The Redfield Dam area offers easy access to the
Middle Raccoon River with a large gravel parking lot and paved boat ramp, both located below the low head dam.
The boat ramp is located at the southern edge of the 88 acre wildlife refuge. It is a very popular place to start a leisurely float down a river that has great scenery and the opportunity to view wildlife including bald eagles, river otters, great blue herons, belted kingfishers and many others.
