Eagle City Park & Eagle City Addition

One of Hardin County’s hidden gems, Eagle City Park and Eagle City Addition are both located southeast of Iowa Falls and cover a total of 274 acres of land along the Iowa River. Eagle City Park has two entrances and is often referred to as Upper Eagle (west entrance) and Lower Eagle (east entrance).

The park features a shelter house, picnic tables, a vault restroom, carry-down river access, and a swing set. The area offers a host of recreational opportunities including hiking, primitive camping, stream fishing, public hunting, and canoeing/kayaking.

The Eagle City Addition borders the northeast side of Eagle City Park and offers just over 100 acres of primitive timber geared towards hikers and hunters.

Be sure to keep this area in mind for your next outdoor outing!
